Harvesting bounty from our gardens can be taken one step further, by saving seeds to replant every season. Local co-founder of the Seed Sentinels Group, Richard Watson, is hosting this workshop at his garden, which is mainly dedicated to growing vegetable s for seeds that produce crops that thrive in local conditions.
Richard will demonstrate how to harvest, process and store seeds and discuss various breeding strategies. We’ll also have a look around the garden, which features growing systems and plant varieties he has developed over many years.
