Climate Change and Local Response
Hear about and discuss ways of responding locally to climate change. What might this mean for rural communities and businesses, both through reducing emissions as well as adapting to the impacts of a changing climate? Presenter Dr Anita Wreford is an applied economist based at AERU (Agribusiness and Economics Research Unit) at Lincoln University, focusing on agriculture and the natural environment. Anita was a lead author on the recent IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Land, and is working with a team on the first national climate-change risk assessment report.
