Biodiversity - Our Heritage & Legacy

The Hurunui Biodiversity Trust is pleased to announce that its Invitation Address with Tā Tipene O'Regan has been rescheduled. for Monday 23 November. This will be an informative, entertaining and thought-provoking discussion with Tā Tipene, who is a distinguished Ngai Tahu kaumatua, scholar and advocate. He will explain ways Maori view the importance of our native biodiversity for its cultural and spiritual as well as ecological values, then discuss what sustainable custodianship of the land means from a Maori perspective and how to achieve this together in ways that leave our natural resources in better shape to support the generations to come.

A donation of $5 is appreciated. Supper is included.
